11th Toys of JOY Wrapped Up!

We are so grateful to all who supported Friends of JJ this year and our 11th Annual Toys of Joy Toy Drive and Fundraiser. With the help of our community, local businesses, organizations, churches, volunteers, friends and family we brought more SMILES & JOY than ever before.

During the Holiday Season, we worked with over 30 local businesses to distribute over 1,500 toys to 20 hospitals. We were able to fulfill 15 family Holiday Wish Lists for children with pediatric cancer. We mailed over $3,000 worth of gift cards and distributed over $3,500 worth of clothing for long-term stay pediatric patients.

Throughout the year we shipped out 75 Smile Boxes to children with pediatric cancer across 23 states. We gave financial support for medical bills and living expenses to 20 New Jersey families with a child battling pediatric cancer. We brought smiles year round to pediatric hospitals through different fundraisers including Halloween, Easter, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Summer Smiles.

For the 2nd year we teamed up with The Jess Press to bring Hope to families with a child in the NICU. This year we raised $1200 to distribute to two New Jersey NICUs.

Together we are truly making a difference in the lives of children and families spending their holidays in a hospital and so many families with children battling cancer and other diseases.
